Travel Information

The University of Central Lancashire's main campus is within walking distance of Preston (Lancs) railway station (approximately 10 minutes). There are also frequent direct buses connecting the station and campus.

The conference will be held in Leighton Building (LE).
All talks will be held in room LE110. Refreshments will be served in room LE002.
To access Leighton Building, please enter via Foster Building. Directions are provided below (please consult the campus map for additional clarity).

Directions from Preston Railway Station:

• Exit the station via Fishergate and turn right until you meet Corporation Street.
• Head North along Corporation Street for 0.5 miles (note that you will have to cross the A59 at some point and rejoin Corporation Street)
• Turn left onto Kendal Street.
• Enter Foster Building and continue down the long corridor until you meet the Jeremiah Horrocks Institute.
• Upon entering the Jeremiah Horrocks Institute, Leighton Building is located through the doubledoors on your right.
